Message from the Provincial Superior

“The art of teaching is the art of assisting discovery.” (Mark Van Doren)

‘Education’ is a joint venture, an association between the school and home to ensure a child’s successful future, discovering oneself. Even more, my observation in the field of education makes me say this, with conviction that the foundation of a successful school depends on the kind of co-operation between the learners, mentors, parents and the community. Parents play a vital role in the journey toward excellence and their contribution is a priceless support to the growth of the school.

We are proud of our buoyant  Lisieux Convent Pre- School which offers the great learning experience and opportunities to develop our students.  This pre-school is committed to provide a quality education for all students that develop the whole child.  The school values underpin all that it does in a supportive and caring environment.  It focuses on quality teaching and learning, with a strong emphasis on literacy and units of inquiry featuring significant and relevant content for life in the 21stcentury.

The mediocre teacher tells. “The good teacher explains. The superior teacher demonstrates. The great teacher inspires.” (William Ward) The Lisieux Convent Pre- school Principal and the staff were gifted with new ideas, innovative skills and talents; inspire students to do ordinary things in an extra ordinary way.

I appreciate the relentless contribution of our dear Sister Prasadini the Pre-School Principal and her staff for organizing attractive, creative and colourful programmes throughout the year and thus train every individual child to give his/her fullest co-operation and active participation.  I admire their spirit of commitment, dedication, self-sacrifice and duty consciousness.

The experience of school continues to play a vital role in the lives of the children and will determine their academic, social and, probably their occupational future. I assure you of my prayers for this great mission of initial education, that it may give valuable support and a healthy rapport in the holistic development of each child.

God’s choicest blessings be with you all.
